Krk Night Trawl Fishing Trip

The Night Trawl Fishing is one of our most popular boat trips.

The guests board fishing boat Zlatopruzica in either town of Punat or Krk City around 7pm. After a welcome drink (home made fig grappa), the boat takes off towards canal between islands Krk and Cres.

Guests on board witness a beautiful sunset and the crew is at full disposal answering all questions on the Croatian way of fishing. The net is then cast in the sea, where it is dragged on the sea floor for approximately two hours. In a meantime an appetiser is served - locally made cheese, olives, seafood and bread, accompanied with beer or wine.

After about two hours the fishing net is pulled out, the fish sorted, cleaned and cooked on the boat. The dinner is then served under the stary night whilst the boat is slowly returning to Krk harbour, finally arriving just after midnight.

The video below cannot realistically describe the magical experience of this fishing trip but it could give you some ideas on what to expect.
