Krk Jazz Live Festival at Island of Krk Croatia

As a part of "Krk Music Live" programme, this year the City of Krk is again hosting International Jazz Summer School and Krk Jazz Live festival. This event is organised in collaboration with Global Music Foundation.

If the week of sun, sea and evening jazz performances appeals, then a visit to Krk Island in this period is a must! Enjoy the music, feel the buzz and breathe in the smell of the sea.

The International Jazz Summer School will be the part of the Krk Jazz Festival and is designed for instrumentalists and singers who whish to improve their technique and ensemble skills under the guidance of expert jazz teachers and performers, some of whom are: Michael Buckley on saxophone and flute, Frank Harrison on the piano, Jeremy Brown - one of the leading bass players in the UK, Francesco Petreni (percussion and Samba school), Alfred Kramer (trombone and drums) and Stephen Keogh, the course director, on drums and pulse.

There will be a number of public concerts throughout the course with jam sessions going into the nights.
