Njivice

Njivice on the map of Krk. Njivice is the newest-built town on the island of Krk. It has developed thanks to tourism. In 1930, the first hotel was built, and that started the transformation of a small fishing town into one of the bigger tourism centres on the Island of Krk.

In the centre of the town, there is a small port bordered by beaches on both sides. It is the centre of life in Njivice, along with numerous restaurants, cafes and pastry shops.

North from the port, there are Beli kamik and Jadran hotels, as well as a big auto camp in the shadow of a thick leaf forest. Njivice also offers quality apartment accommodation in family houses which have carefully maintained plots.

The beaches in Njivice are pebbly or partly paved, while outside of the town, there are rocks with little bays.

At the end of the town beaches, the promenade begins – a romantic path through shades of the pine trees, meandering right by the sea. The promenade is over kilometre long.

Along with mild natural conditions in Njivice and the accommodation infrastructure which is at an enviable level, Njivice offers entertainment events in the open to its visitors which are taking place almost every day. That way, you can get to know the traditional folklore, listen to a cappella singing, and promenade concerts of wind orchestras. During summer periods, the town gallery hosts the exhibitions of renowned artists.

Tame and quiet, Njivice is a summer holiday spot where you will spend a completely relaxed holiday and it will certainly make you come back!
